man...so i am sittin right now bored outta my mind in the cec, doin this freakin controls systems project. it will be done shortly tho...i just needed a break. so yeah not much has been goin on. super busy week, but the weekend is finally here. and i can't wait until next week, tahoe is gonna be phenominal. they got just under 5 ft of snow in 48 hours. yes, thats right...5 ft. its going to be amazing. tonight i am plannin on gettin nicely toasted and heading down to the city museum for good drunken times...there's just somethin about goin down 5 / 10 story slides when drunk. you gotta try it. well its back to the project...leave me on.

oh man...sorry about the lack of updating on this thing. i keep on swearing i will get better at it...but i never do. The last few days have just sucked. I have honestly done nothing but study. Well i guess i have gone to 2 shows since last week. On sunday Jevin, Matt, and I all drove up to Evansville, IN to go see a Wilhelm Scream, Much the Same, and Break the Silence. Those evansville kids are crazy! there were circle pits for everyband that played....and a Wilhelm Scream definitely made the trip worthwhile. they put on an amazing show. MTS actually played really really well too. after the show we hung out with all the bands for like a half hour or so, and then they all ended up driving back to STL behind us and staying at matt's house. Then they had a free night off on tuesday so they drove back from springfield MO to play a show with FFF on tues.
All i can say about that show is wow. Every band had an amazing night. It was Matt's b-day, and all the bands, after spending like 2 days at matt's and derricks knew everyone pretty well. it was just like a group of friends all playing for each other. all the bands agreed that it was the best time they had had on tour yet. whats better is all the bands really liked FFF so they made some pretty strong contacts in the scene. I also have a new favorite club in STL now...the inferno room. its sooo awesome. just really small and tightly packed, and the band has to play on the ground level...it just feels...right. after that was over we just hung out with the bands for like another hour or so before they hit the road....such cool guys. then we headed back over to matt's to celebrate his b-day a little more...too bad matt was the only one drinking!
From that day on tho...its been study study study...damn heat transfer. I guess i will talk to all you kids later.

whats up kiddos? just thought i would write a lil' somethin on here before i head out. not too much to report. school sucks...and i am realizing i am not doing nearly enough work this semester. already fallin behind...but i honestly have zero motivation to do work.
the last week i have....umm...i went to a form follows failure show at cicero's. yeah thats about it. i actually talked to someone from hot or not the other night. while it definitely makes me feel like a sketchy guy...it was nice to meet someone who was cool to talk to. who knows. i think tonight i might finally meet up with my friend katie, a going out that has been 2 years in the making...seeing as she goes to SLU and is only like 10 miles away.
Oh yeah i am here by myself all weekend. Josh and FFF went up to chicago for a couple shows. me being broke couldn't tag along...ah well. so if anyone wants to come party it up over here, bring it. we got places to crash. hahaha who am i kidding? the only people that read this aren't even in STL! (Chewie = chicago maybe? , Laurel = china, Laura = CA, Moira =SLC, Colette = San Diego, Mic Nasty = KY, Bec = OH) so yeah don't really know why i did that...but if you feel the need to let me know you are one of the readers that i have left out...you just let me know. aight...late.

well well well. this weekend was interesting. went home to watch the cards play (shitty shitty basketball and lose to a fuckin non-ranked team) and then basically was in a somber mood from then on out. an interesting side note...if you are old (like 50) you can get drunk off of like 4 glasses of wine. not tellin who it was...but it was pretty damn funny. ask if you know some of my parents friends from back home. not too much else happened. played alot of vice city when i was home, damn that game is awesome.
oh yeah...i got pretty damn drunk on thursday night and ended up talkin to my friend ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) onesilverbullet who i haven't talked to in forever and had a GREAT time talkin to her. she is super cool. altho since we were both (atleast i thought we were both) drunk i don't know how much i remember talkin to her about...whateva. she introduced me to another cool lady friend named steph, who also seems to be pretty freakin sweet.
now i am back in the swing of classes and its shitty. class sucks as always. and its snowing....again. i love the snow and all...but for some reason my back started killing me today. i think it was cause i slipped on some ice...but i didnt fall from the slip so who knows. i have been spending my evenings watchin classic disney movies...you know...like alice in wonderland and sleeping beauty. CLASSICS. oh yeah...and since last time i got really bored and put my picture on hot or not. thought it would be funny, and now i got one hell ofa good rating. fuck yeah to 9.4's. i would post a link but i am afraid you fuckers would bring me down! aight...late.

so tongiht was fun i guess. got drunk here with like jeunger, brian, matt, jevin, spencer, josh, and katie. good times over here i guess...then we walked for likea fuckin half hour to get over to the party which was way too fuckin far away. we all froze our ass off. and on the way over we got pulled over by the cops, and they tried to blame josh, jevin, and me for supplying alchohol to minor. FUCKIN BULL SHIT! we got out of it but whatever it still sucked ass and we were all freezing our asses off.
then we got to the party which was alrgiht. there was one really cute girl there but of course i didn't have the balls to go talk to her. typical. can someone just kick me in the nuts next time that happens and say...you feel that pain...that is pain inflicted by having balls...go fuckin talk to her. honestly. so then we came back and watched the alk3 dvde. how fuckin awesome is that dvd...its my fav by a long shot. alright time for bed now.

sorry to all 4 of you who read this...i know its been a while since i updated last. not much really to report tho. still no girls. still lots of work. still gettin drunk on weekends. still listenin to lots of music. okay enough of that already. so lets see...WILD was friday. got to see talib kwali and busta rhymes. i really enjoyed it...not so much my style but i was wasted so it all sounded good to me! on saturday i got to see AFI again. good times there. got a sweet as shirt that says...i know what died that night, it can never be brought back to life. on the back it has A Fire Inside written in red letters...the front is in red letters too...and on the front it has like the old lady like kinda stabbing this girl...kind weird..definitely dark. i like it. they put on an amazing show...but i still thikn they were better when i saw them in march. i dunno. becca, kyle, and buckels were all talkin bout comin down from Witt this weekend...but that fell through. it made me sad...cause i really wanna see those guys...especially down here cause i know bec hasn't been here in a long time. i miss my sis...what can i say? i guess i am just gonna have to go up there soon...but i guess if they woulda come down i proly wouldn't have seen them much cause i was at that show sat. OH YEAH... joe was in town this weekend too. he was schmammered all weekend...it was funny.
sunday i worked ALL day on a freakin vibrations lab. i seriously worked like 12 hours on that bitch. it sucked serious ass. but its all done...so now i get to start studyin for my vibrations test on thursday. but after that i get to go to VEGAS! i am really pumped about that...never been before. so good times should be had, and hopefully money will be won. which brings us to today. woke up at like 10 to say bye to joe then went to class and vibs lab. cheap chinese was beckoning for lunch so i hit that up with brandon wilson and then just chilled at home. then went to derek's, greg's, ed's, and steph's place to go hear FFF practice and to chill out. then we all went to see school of rock. decent movie...i liked it. time for bed now. gotta rest up for class...and tomorrow night...SAVES THE DAY AND TAKING BACK SUNDAY!

for my SIS-ter i am updating my journal...not much to really reporty. i am drunk , its great. WILD is tomorrow so iget to see Busta Rhymes and talib kwali....while missing out on Cursive....fuck you wash u for scheduling a party you cna't miss on a fantastic show date. oh well...i am sure cursive will be back around sooner or later. not much goin on in josh's life. just been doin lots of work and such. went to the F1 race in INDY last weekend with the 2 brandons which rocked. ughh...i feel sick. josh and i just smoked hooka and for the first time i feel like i wanna throw up after doin it. i think we need to change the water...we had left in it the vodka punch from this last weekend. it made both josh and i sick too...weird. anyways tonight was good times. went bowling with jevin, steph, derek, jeunger, and turd fergeson...good times. didn't bowl too bad...i almost broke 100 in one game. but yeah just wanted to give you all a little heads up on the whole hooka smoking with old nasty alcoholic beverages as your filter....don't do it! aight...time for sleep.

so this weekend was great for me...aside from the shitty way it started out on thursday with the whole teeth thing...and even tho i might have sounded pissed off on my last post...i wasn't. i was just drunk! you know how it goes...but anyways the weekend was so much fun. as previously said, i got trashed on friday night...didn't wake up until like 1 the on saturday and proceeded to do nothing...except think about work. then i went out over to bobby's place and he cooked alot of people steaks...that were awesome. so we all headed back to my place...all being me anita and mike. josh, jevin, greg, and chris were all over here so we got drunk quick here...vodka kool-aid is great...and went over to some party.
i have never seen an apt. as messy as this place was when the party was over...I even thought it was disgusting..which is sayin alot. but their party was awesome...cops finally broke it up around like 2 and were complete assholes about it. one cop knocked my friends cigarette outta his mouth with his freakin flashlight...and my friend was like who buddy what are you doin? and then the cop busted out his knight-stick and hit my friend in the leg. WHAT THE FUCK!? it was messed up...and then that kid bobby...who i went to dinner at his place...got arrested for bein really drunk...and i ran into lots of old friends that i haven't seen since like soph. year...and also i got to hang most all of the night with anita..so all in all that party was redongulously good.
then there was today...got to sleep in again, then went to my schools 150th birthday party. free hot dogs, live performances, and just a perfect day made it awesome. i really had a good time...and to cap it all off i met up with anita, mike, and angela and watched the st. louis symphony orchestra in the quad. i had never been to the symphony before and i very much enjoyed it!
oh i also got the new thursday cd shipped to me on saturday and it rocks...it also made my weekend shagtastic. alright...so until next time...on a scale of 1 to AWESOME, i'm super great.

yeah so first off...all i gots to say is thta cabin fever is fuckin awesome...such a great movie. i lauged my ass off...its the way EVERY horror movie should be...and next is...FUCK YOU. well maybe not so harsh but still kinda the same message. just in general...first of all cause i called anita and she picked up and all i could hear was background bar scene sounds...and it was breakig up alot so the cnonectoin eneded...and then i called back and no anwswer...so i left a message...kinda...well a page is more like it...and never got a call back...so oh well right? watter under the bridge...but then i say fuck you to myself for not talking to a girl who is sooo hot...just to let you knwo how easy it is to talk to her...btoh greg and josh talked to her no problem...but me? no...couldnt do it...so fuck it.pisses me off royally at myself...just as josh expected. lets hope things go okay with anita...i swaear if she...never mind...but on another side note...ran into carol tongiht. went well no quams or anything ... actually had a civil conversation...for like 2 minutes..but back tot he hot tall blonde girl int he tight tight jeans...man i am kicking myself now. ah well....anita has twice the body she did and i can imagine she is way cooler. but right now...EVERYONE GO SEE CABIN FEVER. its great. okay. drunk josh must go to sleep.

well well....so its another day down the tubes. wow...what a depressing way to look at it. it was a fun filled day of class and more class...followed by a dentist appointment...then drawing...then more class..then home for a half hour or so of cleaning...then some eating of dinner...and finally continuation of my drawing. i swear i will not be tired of this freakin project when it is over. i have 7 of 8 designs drawn...some of them might be kinda shitty but oh well.
great news from the dentist today!!! I GET TO WAKE UP AT THE ASS CRACK OF DAWN TO GO IN ON THURSDAY MORNING FOR A ROOT CANAL!!!!! WOOOOO HOOOO! yeah so basically afte the freakin root canal i get to go to class with my mouth all numb and shit. i can't wait.....

ahhh...do you know how it feels to absolutely dread doing a homework assignment?? i do...i hvae been putting it off all day now. and i need to get atleast half of it done tonight. its 8 concept designs for my engineering class....sooo if all 3 of you who read this can think of any ideas for a table fan that rotates 360 degrees...please feel free to post in my comments your ideas.

ahhh so the last couple days have been awesome. where to begin...i went yesterday on a float trip down the mighty meramec river with the dual degree engineering students....i knew about 5 of 'em. it ended up being a blast...everyone was super nice and plus we all got really drunk. we floated about 6 hours in a river that i swear was no deep than 15 ft at it's max...the avg. was prolly about 5 ft. so anyways i came back home...ate josh's leftover chinese and passed out.
a little later in the evening after i wake up i decided to call anita...a girl i kinda knew but didn't really until the float trip...she had given me her number :-D so i called and she invited me to go out with her and some others to a party...things went super great at the party...we hit it off pretty well and i actually got an invite early today from her inviting me over tonight for some homemade sushi and then to go out to a movie tonight. SCORE! i was super happy...which leads us to now.
i am finally home from seeing step into liquid. THIS MOVIE ROCKED...such a cool movie. i have decided i want to be a surfer...screw school. the cinematography was incredible....i really loved that movie. and so then we came back to her place and as i was leaving she said...so i guess i will prolly see you tomorrow then josh!...WOO HOOO....see this is good for me. finally having a girl partially pursue me is good. i love the chase! so much fun and excitement. so now i have someone to think about which is gooooooood. i am just havin a blast now with everything....but the work and eventual oral surgury i am going to have to have.
